Daz Central issues

Daz Central has a pretty interface, but it doesn't work nearly as well as install manager for actually intalling stuff.
And you can't hide products you don't want installed, or do a number of the other things Manager does.
Are there any plans to fix these things so it actually does the job that Install Manger does?
Or should we plan on just installing everything by hand from now on?

My solution was to stick with DIM. I know how to use it, so there was no reason for me to switch.

DazCentral wasn't meant to replace DIM, it's a simplified interface with fewer options for newbies. Stick with DIM for those features.
DC does not have an issue, DC IS an issue.... it has reliably messed up my installation more than once, and I am avoiding it like the plague. In my opinion, the development effort would be better spent in DAZ Studio itself.
Yes, DIM is best.
Some products however can't be installed with DIM, so you have to install manually or use DAZ Central. For example, Vulpine Folk. It would be better if DAZ required all new products to be downloadable using DIM, at least until DAZ Central become a superior, bug-free replacement capable of handling all legacy content (if ever). Manually installed items tend to get lost. I am afraid to try DAZ Central for fear it might break something, untill I see more positive feedback in the forums. Using two different installation managers for the same store is inconveninent and confusing!
Anything which can be installed with Daz Central can also be installed with DIM. If a product only lists Daz Central, then the downloads are broken and it can't be installed with Daz Central either.
I never had an item that was DC only install. I would have returned it immediately. DC will not have a single byte on my harddrive. That software is just for the bin.
