which character are you working with?
could be a "missing in translation" issue, such as a bulge modifier or something else that doesn't translate well, or at all.
The character is adjusted by myself, you mean it can’t be transformed now, right?
That bulge looks very much like what you get with dual quat skinning. I don't use Maya but try switching to normal/linear skinning in it if you have the option...
