At last! A cowbell!

Not a promo. Just a fan, because... Finally, the wait is over. We have a good quality model for the immortal cowbell, the heartbeat of 60's rock 'n' roll. I know there must be those fans of a certain age whose hearts yearn for the persistant clanking back-beat as they scream out the lyrics for "Mississippi Queen". The flashy, firey fretwork of Leslie West on lead guitar? Pfft! Just gimme that old-fashioned frenzied cowbell flailing.

I love the humorous promo pictures (the cowbell artist hammering the bell over a couple at a romantic candle-lit table) Classic.

ah yes. what motley crue song didnt have tommy lee wamming on a cow bell

  • It's great but now we need the rest of a jug band (jug,  tub bass, wasboard, spoon's, etc) to go with it.

It was an actual cowbell?... I thought it was a name I'd never heard before for the type of beard the character in the promo had.

I probably should have done more than glance at it.

  • I, for one, welcome our new cowbell overlords.

And now I'm going to have Honky Tonk Woman stuck in my head for the rest of the weekend.

Gosh, and I thought it was kind of silly, like a late April's Fool joke product. Who knew (well, I guess you folks did) that is would be so popular?! laugh Now if only we had a Gallery where I could view all of your fabulous cowbell renders...

    So Epic!

  • More Cowbell! I believe there is a set of 60's Band equipment! This could be the start of something even more interesting. While copyright will prevent having hit music in an animation, could we suggest people play this song by this artist at the same time you hit play on the animation?

I try to use everything I buy, so here is my cowbell image. Seb seems to be having a good time.

    That's great!
  • I didn't know I even needed a cowbell until this popped up. I'll have to think of an appropriate render.

@Taoz I love the cow animation! lol

I own several cow and goat bells. I don't play them in a band but I do like to ring them occasionally.

I actually sent it as April's Fool stuff, but too late. I'm glad it finally came out XD. I bought a real one and love to bang it to "Don't fear the reaper". It makes all worries fade away XD :)
