I loaded DIM to see if my new purchases would be on there for download, but a box popped up saying there is an update. I'm hesitant to do it with all the wonky stuff going on right now. currently 1.4.0.67
EDIT: when i clicked the setup box, the entire program froze up and I had to close it.

On my Mac today, I got the update message, told it to do it, and DIM closed.  Upon opening DIM again, it opened properly without any update or message.  My new purchases were ready to download and everything went smoothly.  I've been on .67 for some weeks now.

bummer.. i tried again a couple times but continue to get the update box.

  • I updated it and worked fine for me. I was able to install some items I had bought.
  • It isn't an actual update, it's a false positive triggered by the store change - however, downloads are being a little tricky for some (including me) so you may want to try a manual download and place it in the DIM Package Archive ("Downloads") folder anyway.

That's interesting. Does this mean I can put my manually downloaded files into the DIM downlooad directory and get DIM to install them, rather than unzipping them myself?

Yes, that's how people with offline machines work. There are a few things, like the DS Public betas, which don't have manual downloads but it works for the vast majority of products.

Hm, I have DIM 1.4.0.67 (64-bit) on Mac. That should be the most current version?

    - Do not get any update box.

    - Do have nothing in the "Ready to Download" section.

Manual installing (via placing downloaded files in the proper DIM folder) works but with with a library in the thousands (2,3k of >10k installed after a new setup of the library) that's not an option I want to continously use. Any updates on a DIM fix?

    Here's the log:

Same here - DIM does not show any new purchases for download since store update.

When I try to install from the DAZ Store order page, dim Log shows:

I'm having the same json error - I had the same error a couple of months ago and there they fixed it in a few minutes.

  • This is a known, if somewhat variable, issue. There is a thread on known issues here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/447446/store-issues-known-problems-please-read/p14
