Dforce Hair issue

Need help with this one Hair only displays the scalp part in Iray

it's Dforce Faye Hair, same thing happens with Lea Hair 1 and 2

am i missing something ? i reinstalled the hair twice already, samething

btw this only happens in Iray Preview, in render it works fine

After I increased the line Tesselation to 2 it sightly changed in preview [ Pic 3]

    With this sort of hair the preview does not show the same as your final render will show.  This is quitte normal

    thanks for the reply. I thought i was missing a file or that DIM or I messed up the install

    Is there anyway to get to show normally like other Non-Dforce Hair do in preview ?

    Yes there is, somewhere [don't recall exactly atm where] a switch to toggle the view on. Some such hairs have a preview toggle on/off script in their folders.

    However it is off for a reason.

    Often these hairs are very heavy and will bog down the mobility of the scene as one tries to work with the other models in the scene.
