I'm thinking the marble's a little too specular and polished, but I can't decide for certain. I need to become more of a student of RW surface characteristics. My eyes and brain lie to me a lot about what things should look like.

Maybe I'll cut it in half and spread the gloss out a bit.

    Looks very good to me. I'd leave it as is. Polished marble is meant to look....polished.
