How to smooth out mouth to chin lines with Genesis 8 Female?

This doesn't happen when I use preset face shaped from the DAZ store, but whenever I try to recreate someone I know in real life, I always seem to get everything looking decent with the face at rest, but whenever I give the character even a little bit of a smile, these light reflecting creases form down to the chin, when realistically, they should stop at the corners of the mouth, or at least not be as prominent as they are when smiling. Is there a general easy way to fix this without messing up the rest of the face shape beyond recognition from all angles? I'll leave an example down below with one particular character, but this affects all characters I try to manually create in DAZ. If additional angles are needed to determine what the issue exactly is, let me know. I'd just like some help narrowing which parameters would be most beneficial in fixing the mouth/chin area only.

There are various ways (dials) to produce a smile if you have the right morphs installed. The standard smile/happy dial will sometimes not produce the effect you're looking for on the character you're working with. Personally I use a combination of smile morphs from the bluejaunte characters. The more characters you have installed, the more options you have with regard to expressions, but I suppose that's an expensive way to aquire them when all you need is a smile.

That's really strange as I've not seen those lines that go all the way to the chin like that. Are you sure that your Genesis 8 Female base morph hasn't been changed? Could you post a screen capture of JUST your Genesis 8 Female without any morphs dialled in? Because if you're seeing those weird chin lines on all G8F characters, that doesn't sound right at all.
