Gift card codes again

I don't usually have problems with gift cards (well, my wallet does). Today for the first time I got a 'wrong gift card code' message when I clicked to redeem it: but the right amount was credited to my store account. I've only had one gift card email (as yet), so nothing necessarily wrong, but I was surprised.

    I don't think I need a ticket: I was surprised by an error message when no error seemed to have occurred. I was under the impression that the gift card code either worked or returned an error message: not that it did both.

    It is possible that you accidently double clicked when you tried to redeem it. When that occurs the first click redeems it and the second click results in the wrong gift card message. I've had that happen a few times.
