I'd suggest using the category system to male them appear together, that way you don't alter the files themselves and so you can get updates more easily.

Not really, basically you are asking for an auto converter from Poser format to DS format and vice versa, which does not exist (although there are converters for individual products).

Also remember that DS format also uses the runtime dir, for textures and support files.

the reason i am asking, besides wanting them combined, i use Carrara, and there are some daz content files not showing up ....enviroments and propsDaz studio can see them, so they are there

so i was thinking , if i could convert them to poser files, and put them in the same folder as the Daz files, then Carrara should see them

I don't know if Carrara works the same way, but in DS if you put a .duf file in a Poser library with a matching Poser file (exact same filename) DS will use the ,duf file.  You could create a dummy poser file to match the .duf and see if it works in Carrara.

Make a folder named "Dummy" in Runtime\Libraries\Props.  Copy the .duf file there.  Let's say it's named whatever.duf.  Copy the matching .png file.  If it's called whatever.duf.png, rename it to just whatever.png.Make a text file with nothing in it and name it whatever.pp2.  Then see if Carrara shows whatever.pp2 and if clicking on it opens the .duf instead.

You're moving them into the Poser-format runtime to see if you can load them from there.
