Question on Pro models come with male/female's anatomical elements also question on license
Hi Everyone, this is my second week with Daz, I am planning to work on some adult content stuff and maybe animited video clips & games, so would someone kindly enough to link me which genesis 8 Male/Female pro models in the shop has genitals feature?
Also on Liencsing, I understand as long as I don't make APPs and video games that allow users to have free control on the assets in my creation, everything else is allowed. But what about graphic novel games? where players only interact with predesigned pictures & video feature with their dialog choice?
Your input would be appreicated!

Any pro bundle that doesn't have "teen" in the name.
Not the toons, either. Kanade and Sakura don't have them. Aiko is barely a toon any more, which is why she does come with them.
I had micheal and Ly Reagan, no teen/toon in the name, but neither have it. any chance these can be included in these $14 "mini pro bundle"?
What about this?
https://www.daz3d.com/lee-8
this
https://www.daz3d.com/ollie-8-pro-bundle
and this?
https://www.daz3d.com/kayo-8-pro-bundle
Also, anyone can answer the licnese question on the interactive graphic novel game?
The Michael 8 Pro Bundle would have them, as would these others you've listed. The LY Reagan one is not a pro bundle therefore would not have the genitalia figure.
LY Reagan isn’t even a Daz Original, much less a core figure, nor did she come in a pro bundle. Which Michael? Did you buy him in a pro bundle, or just the character? Lee 8 wouldn’t have the anatomical elements, but the Lee 8 pro bundle would (hopefully you’re seeing the pattern here).
As far the license, if all you’re presenting to the user is pre-rendered 2D images, you’re set.
Awesome!! thank you two for excellent advice!
K, I'm about to purchase my first pro bundle, Mr. Woo or Olie most likely, but what about their morphing options vs regular genesis 8 since they all have a base physical stats and face preset? for example, Mr. Woo is an old guy, can I morph him young? and these are both thin figures can I morph them into musclar ones?
Not easily. For that you'd at least need https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-male-body-morphs and https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-male-head-morphs
I see, what about the face? can I morph mr woo's face into a teenager? also, Without extra plug in above, how much height & muscle I can expect to add on these preset?
What's the point to sell these more refined model called "pro" when they have less morphing option than the base model?
In my opinion, pro bundle characters are usually like "Hero" characters, with high quality skins and lots of extra content in one go. But if you really want the max amount of customization you have to buy morph packs, and then cherry pick other characters and just use their skins. And no there is no way with Mr Woo that you'd easily be able to make him a teenager or buff. For younger asian males I would suggest Kichiro or Erik, both of which are included in Lee 8's pro bundle.
Morph pack for younger characters: https://www.daz3d.com/young-boys-for-genesis-8-male, lots of facial morphs in this including monolid morphs: https://www.daz3d.com/rarestone-s-face-morphs-collection-for-genesis-8-male
Thanks for the suggestion, I will get them all if I have too, as long as they all work on Mr Woo, but do they?
It's a shame because with the base model, I'm able to morph them into all kind of shapes and forms, tall, short, thin, buff, teen, young or old man(with plugins) basically endless option and 3rd party skin shader already made them look incrediblly realisitc, the only thing I lack is their "anatomical elements", and somehow no vendors selling this feature as "wearable". That's why I have to buy the pro pack, since the games and graphic novel I'm creating will feature adult content that will need muliply characters with diffferent body type and ages. now I have to worry their expensive "pro" character lack the features from their free base model.
There's 3rd party astronomical elephants available at Renderotica with more options which you should consider if they are going to be an important part of your projects.
It's not that they have fewer morphing options, just that they are a modification of the base mesh for which the morphs were designed. Think of it this way: different characters introduce different details into the base figure; once those details are in there, the only real way to get them out is to dial that character out. This is especially true with characters like Mr. Woo, Mrs. Chow and the other older characters. It's much easier to add wrinkles to a younger character (like with Zev0's Aging Morphs) than it is to remove them from a character that already has them. Once you dial in the Aging Morphs, you can dial them back to lessen or remove the wrinkles. The Mr. Woo morph already contains the wrinkles, and to dial them out any way other than to dial Mr. Woo out, morphs would have to be designed to specifically affect HIS wrinkles.
k, noted, but seems their stuff still need a pro model in order to be competible.
They work with any character of the right generation and sex.
Look for Meipe's. They are a separate geograft, therefore you don't need the Genesis 8 anatomical elements to use them.
Yes, I see your point, but I'd rather they came up with a young man's face mesh model as default and then add a winkled one as switchable add on, that way their buyers will have more character creation freedoms.
That sounds great!! can you link the product page? when I search Meipe on here, it shows he only sell outfits.
They’re on Renderotica, which means that I can’t link to them.
Easiest way to find it, on the left hand, hover over naughty bits, select the sex you are looking for. Narrows the list way down.
Excellent! I found exactly what I was looking for!! you guys are legends :D
Genesis models are very modular in nature, particularly the Genesis 8 series. If you buy Micheal 8 Pro Bundle, then you have the genital prop. The gen prop can be used on any other Genesis 8 male who has the gen textures. Just check the store page description details for a reference to anatomical elements materials.
You can also use any Genesis 8 male skin on any other G8 Male model. The same goes for morphs. If you have a long nose morph, you can use that on anybody, like Michael 8. And so on. Pretty much everything is interchangeable. The same goes for clothing, most clothing for G8 male will work on all G8 males.
If you get comfortable enough, you can customize your own content, too. You can alter textures. Does a character have a mole or something that you just hate? You can open the texture in photoshop and remove that mole. Or maybe you want more moles? You can alter skin color and a lot more. You can also create your own shaping morphs in a modeling program if you learn how. And of course, you can buy almost anything premade, too, that is what the Daz store is all about.
I would maybe start with some morph packs, these can have a variety of specific morphs that can help you dial in the unique character you want. There are tons of them, but one I like is Rarestone's 200 shaping morphs pack. This pack has a ton of stuff, after all, its 200 morphs, and it lets you tweak small details that most other packs might overlook. You can also buy a character for their skin, and use it on another model. Its all up to you.
You are exactly right, I'm still learning about Daz's frame work so didn't know about this till today, I bought my first Pro Olie bundle yesterday and realized that the genital feature included in pro was actually a prop that can be used on other tones, that solved my problem. And for the female, I tried Gordig & servin's advice and bought a $12 geograft from an external site and it worked out like a wonder as well, that is a much economically friendlier option, though require a lot manual work.
Art once again imitating life.
Yeah, for females that 3rd party option should be fine. Though the official one can sometimes work better, so I would consider picking up a female pro bundle when one comes along super cheap. Just a few weeks ago they offered Victoria 8 and Michael 8 pro bundles for like $2 each on a one day only sale. So keep an eye out.
For males, the official one may be better, since every male that has the gen mat will support it correctly. 3rd party ones all have to do some tweaking to make it work right. That and most 3rd party ones look completely ridiculous, unless that is what you are going for. You can find additional morphs for the official Daz prop at that 3rd party site, too. And like I said earlier, if you learn how, you can even make your own morphs for that prop.
Speaking of keeping an eye out, I would suggest getting the Daz Deals Browser Add On to help. You can notified when stuff goes on sale. That includes your wishlist, as well as the top discounts for the whole store, and a whole lot more. The add on is a 3rd party browser extension and there are versions for numerous browsers. One of its many features is a price history of items on their store page, which lets you know how often it goes on sale, and if it has been cheaper. It is the single best tool you can have for this place, I absolutely recommend it.
