Zuna: Great character, missing some files

Hi;

Zuna was love at first sight. The character is awesome. I would love to see a male character with the same stylization.

Errors do pop up when loading, mainly missing some bump maps -- not a show-stopper, just annoying:

    Don't know what is calling for those textures as she has her own bump maps and they all apply properly.

    Thank you! Sorry for the error message, I want to reassure you that the missing files will not affect the Zuna's material preset in any way, because those missing maps is not about Zuna character. There was some bug at some point for sure, and I'm working to fix it.

    Exactly, that's the mystery. Again: the missing files not affect the Zuna's material preset in any way

    OK -- Where exactly is the character herself?  She does not show up under my characters file, nor under the mechasar file heading either.  Materials, yes.  Clothing yes.  No figure though.

    Found her.  Something funky about the installation, I think...

    LOVE, LOVE this character and look forward to any Mechasar makes in the future.  Having said that the packaging is a bit of a mess with some stuff not having Smart Content entries and not being where you would most likely expect them to be searching through the Content Library.  The character is at People/Genesis 8 Females/Characters bottom of the list.

    No problem, as I said, it's not a show-stopper, merely annoying. The character and your poses are excellent, thanks very much for sharing your talent.

    That's where all of the stylistic characters like Girl 8, Sakura 8, and their associated characters are found. And alphabetically, she'd be last.

    That is exactly where I would expect to find any character in the content library. As for the smart content, I can't commnet since I never use it. I stopped buying from daveyabbo when I found that their content is installed outside of that folder. I have no time for custom installs since i need to know what and where product is being installed.

    I do like the shape of Zuna, but the toon look and smoothness are not my cup of tea. maybe one day I'll pick her up and see how realistic I could make her look with different skin, some HD morphs and finer details. Would have been cool to have both a toon and realistic look in the same package.

    I picked Zuna up right away, and I really like her look. I toon all my models anyway with Girl 7 (which I prefer over Girl 8).  I also head mix and I find she mixes well with many characters. She is already one of my top favorites! Great job Mechasar!

    Thanks guys for your appreciation, glad you like her!

    I'm still on work trying to fix that annoying message. If it's merely annoying for you, it's a hundred times annoying for me, trust me on this. Meanwhile, being only a lightweight issue, if you no longer bear that error message every time you use her Iray mat preset, or every time you load her in your scene, I could suggest you to re-save the Iray mat preset overwriting the original file in its folder (Content Library panel/ right-click on “Zuna All Maps Default Iray” file/ select “Browse to file Location” so as to individuate the right folder where to save it, but don’t close it yet). Select Zuna (be sure you’re using Zuna with eyelashes and eyebrows only, no clothes), then go to File/Save As/Hierarchical Material(s) Preset and save it. Open again the folder where you just saved it and delete the newest *.png thumbnail that DAZ Studio creates automatically. You can use the same method to re-save the Zuna character, just select “Save As/Character Preset” instead of mat preset. Users can’t save characters with accessories (eyelashes and eyebrows in this case) but you can always add them easily from your content library. Anyway, if you think you just made a mess, you can always re-install your product :)  Any other question please ask, stay tuned for further details.

    Thanks again!
