GenX HELP Please - on MacOS Catalina

Not that I think that it matters, but I'm on a 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina Version 10.15.4. The version of DAZ Studio I am using is Version 4.12.1.55 Pro Edition (64-bit) Public Build
I have a new computer. Everything 3D related works except GenerationX (GenerationX2;GenX). And GenerationX products all worked on every previous MAC I owned, an in every previous OS version.
In the "About Installed Plugins" Genesis Generation X2 shows up in the list, and the green icon indicates it is loaded. It is the correct 64-bit Mac version.
I uninstalled and reinstalled using DIM all the Dimension3D products.
When I open DAZ Studio, GenX appears in the Panes list with a checkmark beside it.
The pane actually opens in DAZ Studio.
The problem is - nothing will load into the pane, and nothing will show up in the pane, no matter what I click on. And I cannot click-and-drag anything into the pane. So there's no "Source" figures list when I click SOURCE. When I click "Load Figures" nothing happens, nothing loads. When I type anything into the FIND box, it doesn't find anything.
I have a feeling DIM has installed a folder, or content in the wrong place, and the GenX plugin can't find it. But I don't know what it is, or where it is installed.
I understand the artist who created GenX is no longer with us. I really need this plug-in to work. I don't know what to do to fix the problem.
Thanks!

I can not speak about issues with Macs (I own a mac mini, but I don't use it for Daz Studio), but it looks like your issues are installation related.
When other people have related issues where the source buttons are empty it often means GenX can not find the base models. Make sure that the Genesis essentials packages are installed to the same content library as where Gen X is installed. I have also heard of people having issues getting GenX working in the beta versions.
DAZ Studio and GenerationX2 are installed on my computer HD, all other content is installed on an external HD.
GenX is a plugin and doesn't get installed to a content folder. I don't have GenX2, but I have DS and Genx on my C: drive and my content on a different partition, and it works fine.
You may want to add "on MacOS Catalina" to the title.
There is a weird glitch, if I remember right, with the installation. I think one GenX, superceeds the other. And vice versa. I think. It has been a while since I had to deal with the confusion of it.
From memory if you have both genX and genX2 GenX2 installed then they won't work properly. Install only GenX2.
I already got rid of the old edition.
I can't manually download any of this GenerationX stuff because they have these PREHISTORIC installers. I just need to know EXACTLY where and which folders the content belongs in.
I work with Catalina 10.15.2. and I have the base program and the G2 and G3 expansions.
Would it help you for me to list all the GenX related installed files?
I'd be very grateful if you could do that. When I know the location of where they're supposed to be, I can move the files to the right places.
Voila
Wow, that's fantastic! Thank you so much! Now I'm going to try and find these files in my system and put them in the right folders. I didn't even know these files existed.
