  The Use Limits checkbox needs to be unchecked:

  • Parameters Tab
  • Genesis 8 Female selected (or whatever the character is called)
  • Expand Pose Controls
  • Expand Head
  • Expand Mouth
  • Select Tongue
  • Click on the little gear on the Tongue In-Out slider
  • Click on Parameter Settings
  • Uncheck Use Limits 
  • Click on Accept
