Win 10 taskbar no longer hides since last DS update

when i use the latest DS, 4.12.1.117, the taskbar, which I have residing on the bottom, no longer hides. It just sits there obnoxious as all getout, blocking stuff and making my computing time miserable.  When I close DS it hides itself again. I will submit bug report, but any ideas?

Working OK here (DS 4.12.1.117 beta, very old version of Win 10), with taskbar on top of screen, don't know if that matters.  Usually the problem is those 3rd party GUIs blocking the taskbar from showing.

I've not had any issues with the Task Bar auto-hiding, and I'm not sure that DS could affect it.

thanks all. its strange then. its working with cirrent render. we will see. It has failed like that 3 different days. i'm wondering if its as memory or GPU problem. During the last render it stopped working, but at least went to normal when it was completed. I'll have to do some additional checking

Are you cpu rendering?  It sounds like a system busy kind of thing...  not a great solution, I know, but if you set it to not hide then windows shouldn't appear in the same place.  When set to auto hide, pop ups are allowed to use that space as free space, whether it's there or not...

I've had problems with the W10 taskbar not hiding itself off and on for the last year or so randomly. Windows will update and it will seem fine for awhile and then another update will come out and it's broken again. I've gotten used to tapping the Windows key on the keyboard then clicking outside of the taskbar to make it go away.
