Refund Questions
in The Commons
I would like to refund a couple of items, but before I do I have a couple of questions.
1)When I get my money back were does it come to
2)Does the refund process involve using my email. I do not have my email connected with me right now.
I hope I am not asking for too much. If so sorry.

Your best bet is to put in a support ticket and ask. Usually, the refund money comes back as Store Credit. I'm not sure if there is a way to get them to refund it to your bank account or PayPal (or whatever you used to pay) but if you ask customer service I'm sure they can give you an answer and clarify how it's done. :)
I suspect it is faster and less trouble to have it come back as a store credit. And we know we'll spend it again lol ...
You can keep tabs with what's happening on support tickets via the Help page, sign in up top of the Help page {don't open another ticket to check on a ticket}, click on your name and there be the options to check recent activities.
You have the option of having the money refunded to the original payment method or to store credit..
You do need to keep checking on your email address, the one you registered with as according to The software that is your username. This is why you have to use it to sign in with. If you have lost contact with the registeredemail then I suggest that you change your email address and use the new one in future, as not having contact with your username can give you problems because all information sent by Daz 3d will go to that email address.
Refund used to be store credit be default, but recently I've been asked in their first reply whether I wanted that or have the money refunded to my bank account instead, so if you want to skip that step and have the ticket processed faster you should state which option you want in your initial request.
FWIW, the couple times I have requested a refund to my card, credits have taken 5+ business days to appear after CS approves the refund, (vs. 1-2 for store credit), but most of the additional time is my card issuer taking their sweet time posting it.
I let it stand at Store Credit - I know I'll spend it again, probably within a few days. This is one area where DAZ leads the field. Software products are so difficult to "return" so much depends on trust. However, I only return items that did not meet expectations and that, consequently, I am unlikely to use again so for me, the system works fine.
