THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!!!!! XD
Thank you :-) Hope you don't mind, I snagged a copy of it too "just in case" you know. Nicely done.
The copyright claim is from her record label. So it is possible she may not know about it, but Grimes certainly has the ability to get in touch with them over this to get it straightened out.
This would also be a really good topic for Leonard French, the copyright lawyer who has a youtube channel discussing legal cases. As a copyright lawyer, he has a lot of knowledge about how these things work, and somehow he manages to not be too boring when talking about this stuff. He could probably explain it. There may be some limitations on how much freedom Grimes has with her songs, since the record label is the one publishing her.
I could not see any way to contact YouTube, strikes you usually can lodge a dispute but it was not an actual strike clicking just shows where blocked namely Canada and that it cannot be monetised which is expected as in the terms and conditions of her download.
I found the folder with the songs only! Pinnacle doesn't recognize .mov :-(
I suspect by now everybody knows a music expert I am not. Does remix mean only mixing all about of the sound tracks provided, or does it mean we can add to it as well? Thought I'd ask before getting too ambitious here. I have a music program that one can throw in some drums and stuff.
Also, my bad, having found the music files I also found another readme ... a very important readme. So NO do not upload to GoogleDrive, etc. We are only allowed to upload to two places, YouTube.com being one of them.
The permissions for use are indeed global.
To avoid and/or in case of disputes, this section is important, provides a contact email, so here you go:
In the Audio Files package:
In "Music Stems Download Terms and Conditions.docx"
There is this:
In the event that a User Remix is taken down from SoundCloud or YouTube, Users should email a link to the relevant page to 4ad[AT]4ad.com and Label and/or Artist shall use reasonable endeavours to have such take downs reinstated. Users may be able to minimise the risk of take down by emailing a link with the User Remix to the above email address confirming use on Soundcloud or Youtube prior to use. Neither Label nor Artist accepts any responsibility for any takes downs but will use reasonable endeavours to have User Remixes reinstated. Reinstatement is always subject to compliance of Soundcloud and/or YouTube and User not being in breach of these terms and conditions.
replace [AT] with the symbol of course, that's my edit to prevent spiders catching it.
yes you can remix, are quite a few up
and it's confusing for mine as it was not taken down just blocked in Canada
Handbrake will convert the mov to mp4 for you
I know Canada has certain laws regarding suicide however as that song is playing quite well on so many channels there so yeah, it's a puzzle.
Thank you, will take a look for Handbrake.
_ and Lightworks , da Vinci Resolve , Avid _ all have free versions _
_ and can use HandBrake for converting files types _
HandBrake may work for some but another program or something on my computer seems to provide a conflict, and its files went 'all over the place' ... so it is gone now.
This is by far my favourite Grimes video! The rest a pretty meh, seen it all before yawn... I hope you win Wendy!
AFAIK it's not a competition
unless I missed that part
just fun for during the quarantine
_ alright then , But there is other converters also _ thanx
is odd how some files open in one program not another
they don't seem to share codecs or something
My Twinmotion mp4's will open in Windows video editor but not Hitfilm
these mov files open in Hitfilm but not Windows video editor
I know, and I checked all those folders before deleting them, weren't being shared so there's a mystery but not one I have time for. If/when I do I'll investigate other converters.
There's the rather aggressive AV which I'm keeping and possibly some other security feature, possibly of the OS, I don't know ... this machine seems to have a mind of its own somedays.
Mom's back in the hospital so this is one project I'm going to backburner for now.
Made a DNB remix of the track and played around a bit with the video material and some Daz scenes and additional effects:
Thanks for watching and thanks @ Daz & Grimes for all the material for this!
Cheers and stay healthy everybody!
I liked this one, and could see in Canada too! Nicely done.
very clever
LOL VIDEO = PRETTY FUNNY STUFF, but I don't get what TP has to do with anything. Also, she has a beautiful voice, but I could barely understand the lyrics other than ymmwina (or maybe I was just zoning out thinking about what it means to be young and pregnant).
Handbrake ... apparently there is more than one website allegedly for Handbrake and guess who picked the wrong one! That would explain why it was installing 'all over the place' and wouldn't do anything without buying more codex etc. Saw a link somewhere in the forum for it and tried again. Very smooth install, where it's supposed to be and with no complaints is right now converting a file.
This is the link suggested elsewhere in the forum.
Edit: And it works beautifully :-)
oops you found a malware site by looks better run lots of scans, I think I got it via Sourceforge myself like most things
The first place I found yes, that link is nowhere in the forums to the best of my knowledge. Did run scans, all is well. Manually searched the computer at the time too to find all the bits and pieces. Scary thing was it was even loading onto the other drive!
Considering the other place was wanting one to make purchases, I suspect they were after banking info. Which no they did not get mine!
baby has dropped
another boy
X Æ A-12 Musk
sounds like a pretty common name to me
i will wait for version 13 to drop
Can the frames be rendered in 3delight as it's going to take 10+ hours to render the frames in Iray as I don't have a Nvidia graphics card, and I can't afford any new or secondhand cards at the mo
My Spec are
AMD A10 5800k Cpu GPU onboard CPU Is Redion HD 7660
Motherboard is a gigabyte GA-F2A66HM-HD2
16gb Rm
1 x 3tb hdd
1 x 6tb hdd
...well I didn't even use DAZ studio for most of mine
and the one animated background I did do in DAZ studio took more than 10 hours
Can be rendered with whichever render engine you want to use.
Mother and baby doing well :-)
Ex ash a twelve
I got in late to the game on this Grimes video making thing, and it took a while to render all the frames I used, plus I reused several scenes so as not to have to render many more frames. But here's my production of a Grimes video, only using DAZ Studio and Iray to produce the backgrounds. Hope you like it. Constructive criticism is welcome, though I do know there are many, many things I could have done better if I'd wanted to spend more time on it. This was my first attempt at using DAZ Studio in the creation of a video to post on YouTube, and I learned a lot, so, for me, it was worth doing.
