    I am having this same problem. All the suggesntions here sayd to select "Remove Orphan" but I don't have that option. Regardless of the layout, it just doesn't appear.

    Split t its own thread - the one you had posted to was really old, and no longer applicable.

    The emthod is correct - right-click on the entry in the Category list in the Content Library pane - but the command is Remove Reference
