Hi,

I just saw these new Product:

It looks great! But... why do I need an 30$ product which... tbh. I do not have much interest in? :( I mean there are other enviroements where you not have to pay 50$ in total for just a lake :/

That Requirement is just a Purchase Killer for me :(

    Because it's an expansion which uses the props from the base product.

    well, I see many other artists who reuse theyre products and just make a new out of it and indeed include them... this is just a bad way :/ And then really too expensive.

    (expensive, in relation compared to others product/prices)

    Didnt saw its from 2 people hmmm... So People can use a stranger Product, redesign it and simply save the Scene file and then sell it as new Product in the Official Store?

    No hence why you need to have End of the Tracks to be able to use this

    but that was my point? he used the OTHER Product, changed stuff and now he sells his Savefile + "7 Texture Maps (4096 x 4096)"

    That right.   all add on textures are done the same way

    What's with all of these Playstation 3 graphics environments anyway?  I guess theyre for animation or something?

    It would be understandable if the base environment and the new one were incredibly high quality, then i could see myself happily paying twice as much for both, but i feel like most people making static renders do expect high quality and something they can at least have one angle/shot where they dont see bad textures.

    Just as an info: I got the End of the Tracks set a while ago - March Madness mayhaps? Or some earlier sale... - for probably less than $ 10.-

    So now I'll be waiting for the sale that offers me Lake Serene for about $ 5.- which will sure happen sooner or later.

    And from what I've seen, I guess that $ 15.- are a good price for the two products together ^^

    Patience is a virtue ;-) Eventually most items go on sale and even sometimes when we have money to spend :-)

    That right.   all add on textures are done the same way 

    Texture add-ons are usually a fraction of the price tho.

    well I use the Carrara version of end of the tracks heart

    but of course no Carrara version of Lake Seren crying

    still lots of people would have the DAZ set thanks to the sale so would probably grab it

    End of the Tracks was on sale for USD 2.99 a few times last November.  That's when I bought it, and I imagine lots of other people did, too.  But this scene is a lot nicer, so it's more likely that I'll actually use it.

    tbh. for me is the "end of the track" complete boring, but if it is needed and get in sale, well I may grab it. If I dont forget WHY I did need it <_<

    so sadly doesn't cover the carrara version of end of tracks.crying  would've been an instant buy for me.
