Is there an HDRI that is water and sky but no land or land in only one direction? Maybe with different skies os different sizes of waves?

I don't know of an HDRI like that, but you might be able to fake it with a product like this: https://www.daz3d.com/da-big-ocean
This one comes with an ocean but I think there are mountains on one side and smallish islands on the other: https://www.daz3d.com/epic-skydomes-ocean-mountain-sunset-hdri
Oh and I found this via Google (though I haven't downloaded them so I can't vouch for it - use internet caution and all that): https://cgi.tutsplus.com/articles/freebie-8-awesome-ocean-hdris--cg-5684
Have you checked out https://hdrihaven.com/hdris/
Oooo. Just got them and those aren't bad at all. Eight in the set.
Those are great. especially with Iray HDRI Storms Lightning and Desert Which was used in a gallery render for big ocean.

And this one is in my price range! ;)
Do you know how to use them in Daz?
If they are HDRI s you should just be able to pop them in the Environment slot in the render tab
yes, but I only found things shot from shore
Not what I'm looking for but this seems decent. Except for the mismatched shadows. Anyone know how to fix that? white_cliff_top_16k.hdr hdrihaven.com
Do you have a light coming from the left of your figure? If you do then turn it until the shadows match the HDRI shadows and then lower the ground shadow intensity, found at the bottom of the environment pane, to match.
Oh yess! That's what I wanted. And it was the freebie. https://cgi.tutsplus.com/articles/freebie-8-awesome-ocean-hdris--cg-5684
I hate to get a teally cool freebie I can't use. Both the HMS Victory, and the Licorne were free, but with no water...
Thanks all for the help.
Thanks. I forgot. Worked out great.

Several of @bitwelders environments have sky/water HDRIs includied. The HDRIs and the environments are quite nice.
Now isn't it possible that the character could be updated with the new specifications and anybody who doesn't want it can just never update the character? I realize that's a bit clunky, but it might be better than leaving the character wrong by default and expecting people to do special things just to get the default character's look.
And while we're at it, there really should be a way for the end user to delete a post in case they put it in absolutely the wrong thread.
What?
