Problem with Custom Actions

Ok, I have a problem that I'm not even sure how to explain.  You know how, in Daz Studio, when you right-click on an item, you get the option to "Create Custom Action"?  And when you do, it adds the item to a list that you can find up in the toolbar called "Scripts"?  Well, I need to know how to delete those entries in "Scripts".

I recently moved most of my stuff to an external hard drive, but when I did, it "broke" the entries for those items in "Scripts".  They don't work anymore.  But when I try to re-create them, it won't let me because it says it already exists.  Even though the one that exists doesn't work!

So does anyone know how to delete those entries?

    Menu -> Window -> Workspace -> Customize, or just F3. On the left panel (Actions), look for Custom. Expand it and voilà, you custom actions ready to be deleted. Right-click on each one (you can only do one at a time) and delete. You could try to edit the custom action, but I found it much quicker to just remove the broken ones and add them in again. I believe they get removed from the Scripts menu at the same time.

    You've come to my rescue again! LOL!

    Yes, still trying to get everything the way I want it.  I tell you what, though, everything in Studio is going SO much faster now that my purchases are all on another drive.  So I'm honestly thrilled!

    And thanks, of course that works, but I never would have thought to look there.  Although this actually makes a lot of sense, so maybe I'll remember for next time.  Probably not though XD

    Glad this thread exists. I made the mistake of (re)loading a preset workspace and never saved the current custom one I made.

    I lost all the custom scripts.

    And so I opened all the different products and remade the ENTIRE MENU.....never closed and opened Daz and when it crashed, I lost it all again.

    I forgot how edited all the tabs and panes were, even th background color and more.

    Now I save the workspace after major changes and always close and reopen Daz Studio to be sure.

    There were a few scripts I wanted to remove so this is a great tip.

    I've had all my scripts corrupted when Daz crashed. I currently reset up all my scripts in the beta version and would like to make a copy to keep in case that happens again and also to copy to regular DS. Does anyone know where on the hard drive the scripts for the beta are located?

    The scripts or he custom actions? The actions are in the customaction.dsx file in %AppData%/Daz 3d/Studio4/
