[I wish we could organize catalog by iray or 3delight] as i stated or even sku number, I usually pass right over older stuff prior to Iray. That's all i buy are products using iray, so it would be great to organize the catalog that way.

I'd like better organization capabilities in the store catalog as well, but as far as Iray goes, just selecting only G3 and G8 figures in the filters will pull out 99% of everything Iray in the People, clothing and Hair categories, and for the others having a catalog filter really won't work well as a good number of vendors like Maclean and First Basstion have gone back and quietly made a large portion of their catalogs Iray-ready but as I don't believe DAZ has ever uptdated the documentation on any of them to reflect that, the odds of the store filters being changed seem highly unlikely. That said, outside of the specific categores of lights, shaders and effects cameras, why buy only Iray ready? The vast majority of older items convert to Iray easily enough and many actually look better when converted, even using the basic 1-click 3dl to Iray converter, than they did as Poser or 3DL items, and there are dozens of post converters for skin, hair, clothing and props that fix almost anything when going in either direction.
To answer your title.
You can.
Install Iray in one library, and 3Delight in another.
The OP is talking about the store
Ha!
Ok, additional filters would be very useful.
I mainly use DIM for finding stuff, but have separate folders for different product categories.
would be nice to filter the outfits from textures addons in sales. filter out the dforce.
Agreed - that would very nice, although I usually have no problem converting shaders (tho, to be honest, it can get tedious on a Stonemason set...lmao).

I would love to see organizing by places interior, paces exterior or both (hoping the windows matched which doesn't always happen). Or maybe by required unowned items (where I biought an add-on only). Or by dresses versus suits or pants or I could settle for outerwear versus partywear and I belive all textures should be handcuffed to the required item as should poses for specific places, because finding such requires a note from God.
i especially would like categories ..hair, clothes, lights, props, etc ... and maybe even the ability to break that down ... hair - males-female-
Yes! That's something I've always wanted too..
What makes it weirder is that the store is more or less already categorized, with pages for hair/clothes/etc, just there's no way of using that information as filters. Would be especially great for sales pages (especially for sets as they can't even be filtered by the current filters). I guess if there was a hair filter you would be still be able to filter by Genesis 3/8 female/male too which would give female/male hairs.
The usual suggestion is to open a support ticket and use it to make a suggestion to the sales team. I still haven't got round to it..
I wish the dropdown on the sales pages at the very least had the same breakdowns as all of the subcategories you can pick with a few clicks from the 'main' store page.
As noted, you can break down by Genesis generation already in that dropdown, as far as M or F for each generation, but as for the main breakdowns, here's what SHOULD be in that dropdown.
People and Wearables >
Animals and Creatures >
Places and Things >
Animation and Poses >
Resources and Add Ons >
These are the sub-categories that you can navigate to using the bar at the top just below the search bar. Some of these categories and sub-categories have additional breakdowns (notably, People). As the store already has these sort tags in place, it should be child's play to modify the dropdown on the store sub-pages to include these sub-categories.
Anyways, that's how the main store page breaks down if you use the headers at the top, just below the search bar.
I wonder if this is something that the Daz Deals plugin peeps could incorporate into that browser widget...
How unbelievably spooky, I was thinking the same thing today. I was looking at the Easter Sale today and thought I spend far too much time scrolling and scrolling through non-iray merchandise and and am always left with the feeling that I've missed something because I just get bored and a tad frustrated.
Before Daz went to Magento (?) for store software, there was an additional dropdown with options like Animals, Vehicles, etc., maybe Hair. I still miss it.
The headers below the search bar, I don't really like because they are not very user friendly.
