Oso textured hair - need help understanding this

OK so this looks awesome in the promo renders and exacly like something I've been wanting, but I don't understand how this porduct should be used:

do I find a skull cap from some other hair and add this to it?

do I change some other hair to this texture?

does it come with the different form presets or do I make the lenght and stuff myself?

are there presets for different dforce settings?(from the description I take it that no, at least in the basic product. didn't study the addons in detail yet

If this can be used on any autofit thing for gen 8 female does that mean I can use it on a t-shirt?

I could add some more but maybe clearing out these questions will solve some of the others already

so please Will if you're around come help

    The product includes a skull cap. Basically, if you apply the complete hair it fits on a skullcap plus the hair on the skullcap.

    'Any autofit' means that it can be used on Genesis 8 Male, Genesis 3 Male and Female, Genesis 2 Male and Female, and Genesis. Provided you have the stuff set up to do the autofitting. You could also do the older style 'just parent the skull cap to the head,' if need be.

    It comes with many MANY basic presets (which change style and hair color), then presets for different hair colors and hair styles.

    The hair styles have dForce settings tweaked for the specific hair. In some cases, the shorter 'up' hair styles, you don't have to run Simulation. But for most you should.

    I really like this.

    All it's missing imo is a morph to shorten the fringe more. :)

    Maybe I'll see what I can do.

    Well, regarding the bob hair, you can shorten the overall hair by adjusting scale, and adjust the bangs with the 'reduce hair length' value.
