iREAL Animated Clouds

I am a big fan of The Philosipher's line of products and was very impressed with IREAL Animated Clouds but it has disappeared from his store? Does anybody know whe he removed it? I read in the forums that he wanted to make a simular product that wouls simulate smoke, and haze and ground fog. If you got a chance to see the videos before they were remove it was trully an amazing product. Just curious!

    Ah, OK. Have you heard of any plans for the release of the haze and smoke in the same venue? I know that MCasual has a type of billboard script that simulates smoke effects, and Hivewire used to have a animated smoke effect, but not as polished as the products that Philosipher puts out. Do you know if the new Ghost Light Kit works for animation, with actual smoke and haze movement?

    I have not heard of any new products form The Philosopher in while . I did but the new ghost lights that were just released.  but i have not tried to use them in animation yet. sorry.

    That is interesting, I never thought about Fluidos. I actually have the original plug in and from what remember there is quite a bit of tweaking required. I like the smoke trails effect but for setting up a gentle haze in something like a Jazz club scene with the volumetric lighting effect from the spot lights might be hard to attain in fluidos. I have used fog panes but the fog artifacts remain stationary and it takes forever to render with just a single fog pane. The Philosipher focuses on managing computer resources with his products that's why I'm anxious to see a follow up to the iReal clouds, if it comes. That price tag on Fluidos II is kinda holding me back frm trying it for now, I never see it on sale.........sadly.

    I never bought Fluidos II because of the price either. I bought the first one and have use it in animation . But the Fluidos II price tag was just to rich for me. even when it was discounted 

    To bad that a it was not offered  for people that bought the first set as a upgrade option to  Fluidos II  . But ya I with you Kwannie to much $$$ for the amount of use i would get out of it

    Ivy,

      Did you see the animation clips I sent you in a PM? It was of a MMD conversion I did. Just wanted to get your take on it. I would love to see what others are doing here to get atmospheric effects in night club or concert style scenes. Maybe I will start a thread on the topic, but getting responses around here lately is like pulling teeth............lol. For some reason discussions are not as in depth as they used to be in the forums.

    As matter of fact I would love to see what type of stage lighting effects, atmosphere, ies profiles.................that people have incorporated into Concert and night club or theater animations. The key term being Animations. Lighting and atmosphere for a still picture is much easier to tackle than an animation....................obviously.
