Is there a IRAY merchant resource w/4096x4096 of all skin, complete w/ SSS,Bump,Spec,Normal,Color?
Are there merchant resources that offer 4k textures where the entire texture is pure skin; complete with sss translucency, bump, specular, normal, and color map? I understand if there's no normal map.
Or do all the merchant resources have the skin cut/cropped to Genesis 8 default UV template?
Here's an example of what I need. Imagine this is all pure skin, in which it has all the pores, bumps, etc, are proportional to Genesis 8. Just an even clean surface of pure skin.

I don't believe so. I have see some with some of the extra maps but not all. They want you to work to make your character. It would be a great merchant resourse.
I don't know what you mean by 'proportional to Genesis 8.'
I mean, you can have basic skin textures, or you can have a skin texture adapted to a particular figure. I'm not sure how you can do both/neither.
I'm more wondering what would be the point of such a texture:
1. The parts that fall outside the UV will not be used anyway.
2. Skin isn't consistent all across the body. The density, size and types of features in your handpalms aren't identical to those in your face, there isn't a "one skin fits all", which is why you can make out slightly lighter and darker regions on figure UVs, or even parts with slightly different tinting.
I'm not even sure any skin texture artists would have such a texture. They'd probably have a layer they could include to add skin pores, but the skin color would come from a different layer. For geografts, it seems useful, but only if the geografts' texture seamlessly connects with the point where it touches the regular skin. And since geografts can connect to the skin at about any point, the odds of a seamless connection between the two are rather small.
Yeah, that's the other thing. If you create a texture like that there'd be pretty obvious seams all over the place.
Now, a texture like that might be a good base fed into, say, Substance Painter or similar, and I know I've done stuff like that.
One thing to check out might be FilterForge. There are several 'skin' options, veins, etc.
That's what the OP means by proportional to Genesis 8. To have skin pores and all the oher structural differences on a Genesis 8 model scaled to the Genesis 8 model's scale and not, for example, 1 to 1 on a computer screen with a real person's skin looking at that screen.
I ended up making the texture myself. It was for a niche purpose.
I can't see it working as has been stated; pore size varies and it also seams that distribution varies too. Then they are also affected by lines and creases in the regions they bend.
It would work reasonably well I suppose for a styised character, or for one meant to fulfill a specific purpose.
