The problem with the aging morphs is that they "age" every character in exactly the same way, and that is not realistic. Not everyone develops jowls or a double chin. I don't have either, and yet I have no problem looking old. So, I'm with the "roll your own" crowd.

That seems to me bacause folks tend to equate weight-gain with ageing.

Considering the relative ease characters transfer between 3 and 8, why not use what gives you what you want/need?

What I will probably do is use gen 3 as it has the largest pool I like, and transfer back the ones I like from gen 8 to gen 3. Also gen 2 has many I like.

To be fair, there are multiple options for the chins, jowls, etc., and dialing them in at different intensities and in different combinations provides a good bit of variety, especially when stacked on top of other morph packs, skin textures and base shapes. Coiuld there have been more?  Sure, but the price would have gone up as well. If Zev's morphs aren't enough for you, FaceGen Pro adds a bunch of additional aging and assymetry dials even beofe you start capturing morphs from real faces, or do a small dial in from another character... if there's one thing that I've really appreciated with Genesis 3 and Gen 8 is that we're getting more characters who are older looking, both PA products like George,Old Boy & Aldo to Base characters like Ollie, Edie, Mabel & Floyd.  Could there be more?  Yes, sure, but what we've got now is so much better than Poser users have to work with.

By the way, wouldn't it be nice if we could filter the characters in store by age category? Child, Teen, Adult, Mature, Old? :)

Child, Teen and Adult are not subjective.

Mature is only somewhat subjective, whereas old is completely subjective.

Aayup.  For instance, to a 5 year old,  a child of 10 or 12 is OLD.  :D :D

she's pretty attractive. Funny thing or sad thing depending how you look at it, I've seen/known plenty of older women that look lot younger then they are and a lot of younger women that look way older than they are like some 18 to early mid 20's that look two or three times their age

  • here's Ophelia 7 in pink bikini and her HD version in yellow, the HD really adds more in her aging

    Oh Ophelia

I thought Genevieve 7 was a mature character.

I hated the skin that came with her but if you replace the skin with a good PA skin of someone in her 20's, she looks great and is one my favorite G3 morphs. I have to remember to convert her to G8...

Good lord, if Genevieve is considered old, then I must be in the ground already and I haven't even hit the big 4-0... :/

Aging is...relative. Genetics. Nutrition. UV. These all have major influences on skin and how it looks. I know people in their 20's that look like they could be 50. I'm 38 and nobody ever believes me when I say my age...mostly because I'm a vampire and hiss at the touch of sunlight on my skin, lol. I'm glad I never bought into the tanning craze like a lot of the chicks I went to high school with...who now twenty years later look like Magda from There's Something About Mary.

She would have been good looking in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, too.

wow she looks great better than some in their 20s think some of the younger generation are aging way tooooo fast though some around my age are too I'm 47 but I've seen some way older including your lady you posted here look lot younger than than the ones my age or younger

  • Healthy living certainly makes a difference. It's boring,  but staying away from the vices, like alcohol and smokes will keep one looking and feeling young. That stuff is a poison on the body that will age you.
