Mixing head morphs -- lips become strange

I've done some mixing and matching of character heads to make some unique characters. 40% this, 10% that, another 10% that, etc. The character looks almost okay in the end, except for their lips. This happens no matter which characters I mix. Usually their lower lip becomes bigger than usual. I added a morph to reduce the lip size, that looks okay with no poses and expressions, but as soon as I start adding expressions, the mouth becomes catastrophic.
What's the trick to not mess up the mouth area when mixing multiple head morphs? :)

Can you post a pic? I mix morphs all the time and never had that problem with lips although sometimes the teeth get a bit screwed up. With some of Mousso's characters mixed in, I find I have to lower the top teeth for smiles, but have not noticed lip issues...
This is what it looks like after mixing several character morphs:
Looking at just the base character, even that seems to have a bigger lower lip. Maybe it's the teeth for me as well? What do you do with the teeth?
It's more obvious with an expression:
I started dialing out the morphs one by one, and it seems it's the teen head morphs that cause the problem. That's not good. Maybe I'll mix in one of the teen characters.
That's very strange... Must be one character that is causing that. I've mixed a ton and never had that unless I dial up one too extreme.
Thanks for the feedback. It's encouraging to know I can mix them, and it might be just one or two that I need to dial out.
I only noticed issues with my dial-spun G3 characters. G8, so far everybody emotes very nicely. For example, this charactrer is a combination of Kala8 and Monique 8 -
