How come some posts have one view and something like 27 comments all by different people? Doesn't it make sense that if you have 27 comments you must have at least 27 views?
What's going on with this? Seems like something is broken.

I think it's because of the forum change. DAZ is trying to get rid of the view count. New topics made in the past few days/weeks are stuck at 1 view while old topics retained their view count.
While I can only speculate, I think the core idea is not what you stated but to get the forum running faster.
It was removed yea, then reinstated, but now appears to be defunct. While they are aware of the issue, I'm unsure of the timeline for a fix.. or whether it will be removed again.
Someone from Daz posted in a thread (can't remember who it was or which thread, he only had two posts that's all I know) that it was defunct to start with, and that's why he removed it. Why show it, if it's not working. But people wanted it back, so he put it back, even though the functionality still remained what it was before: broken. I don't know when it stopped counting views, I never paid much attention to those numbers.
Humm Ok. Just curious, because I saw one that had recently started and it had something like 3K views and others had more comments than views and I was like WTF?
this forum does some terribly glitchy stuff for me, especially on iOS
I miss several posts that appear later and some vanish then reappear
I know someone else who thought her video had been removed and the the post came back
Merging threads can cause some crazy stuff, like posts not showing up as new for quite some time, not being able to find the thread you posted, the combined thread looking all crazy like people can't be bothered to read, while in fact they were not even responding to the post that appears above theirs, etc. But this is a different issue.
For me today (Win10/Chrome) most of the threads seem to have views in the thousands (eg 1.7K) or only 1. Nothing inbetween. On most of the threads, the number of comments exceeds the number of views.
One of the reasons I want to drive a stake through my iPhone's tiny cold heart, seal it in a lead box with garlic, and throw the little bastard overboard. She lives but to give me grief.
I don't think that I've seen this forum software used anywhere else - is it a one-off? If so, DAZ might do better with a recognised and established platform because I have never seen such a glitchy forum either.
