    Well how about that, I know I have more HD add ons from getting them with the purchase than included in bundles, but I did have Floyd and Mable. But yeah, as far as including them goes, they can't make everyone happy. Though speaking of not making everyone happy, they had an end date on the sale banner for Dain so I could plan for it, wish they had done the same for Leroy. Guess I can get a cart ready and wait and see.

    HD add-on is only useful if you do a close shot of the figure, otherwise it only eats resources for details you won't see anyway. So there are quite a few people who have absolutely zero needs of them as they don't do those kinds of pictures, and they would rather have something they have a chance of using instead in the bundle.

    Personally, not an Ollie fan.  I realize people like them, but too much of a caricature for my tastes.

    I started another thread but is anyone able to get him to download? I keep getting Download Failed in DIM just for him, everything else downloaded fine...

    I don't own many pro bundles because with most pro bundle offers there is so much stuff that I will never render. If HD addons were included with the pro bundles I would buy more pro bundles. I even passed on last weekend's good offer on the pro bundles because there is a lot of content included in many of them I don't use.

    Yep, I agree. There's a certain charm about him and I think he's one of my favorite G8s. I really dig his features and more or less pleased with the Pro Bundle offerings. I don't have an overly large amount of 'modern' apparel for the dudes (even less for the ladies) so it all appealed to me. I'm very happy with my purchases even though I spent a way too much a few minutes ago.

    And here I was going to save my money and not buy any content this month. Hmm. Really going to have to think about this. I like Leroy, and I like his normal clothes.

    So, while I like Leroy, and the character Lewis, and the two included hairs, I can't say the rest of the bundle I like. The clothing doesn't have very much detail, and looks mostly the same. You've got two pants and shirts/ pants and sweater outfits, both of which are dforce and honestly, don't have the detail I would like to see, and making them dforce doesn't make them look better.

    I happen to prefer contemporary outfits, and wardrobe, so I am disappointed that they arent that realistic. We got better clothing with conforming stuff for Gen 3. 

    The fantasy clothing looks better, than the contemporary stuff hands down, so thats good for those who render it.

    This is my second attempt at a render of Leroy 8 in the dForce Hudson Outfit. The texture set is great too. But I wiped out my first attempt because after simulation, the jacket had poke thru from the pants. No slider to move the area right above the abdomen. I tried to learn Mesh Grabber and managed to destroy the pants. (Totally on me, I hadn't even looked at it after I bought it.) So closed DAZ Studion, reloaded, new pose, same outfit, this time, I simulated the pants and shirt first, then the jacket. But when the render was over 90% converged, I finally was able to see the poke thru, again. But, I thought I would share the render, I loved the way the sweater, jacket, and pants look and drape. I will figure that poke thru out one day. 

    Oh yeah, Leroy, he is a sweetie.

    Well, I like Leroy (after finally manually downloading and having it go through Connect because for some reason he refused to download...) But not thrilled with the Winston outfit. The T-shirt has no edges and is bright white, the sweater is just weird and gets poke through in this pose, and I did a quick re-shade with shaders. 

    But this was just a quick test with some quicky iPad post and I really think he has personality and will mix well with others.

    I like him! LOVE the beard, too! Just a quick render as I have too much new stuff to play with, but he seems like a character that I'll get a good bit of use out of.

    Or they were simply late with January schedule and we're back to the "usual" slots.

    Or it could be they're being generous with the number of releases as part of the 20 year Anniversary. Maybe we'll see a new release every week for a while.

    Well, to be honest, I think the clothes (for me) are worse than the Dain ones. I just tried the Hudson sweater and it rendered shiny pink! I was too lazy to fiddle with shaders right now so I took it off. Anyway, here is an artistic render combo of Leroy and Dain...

    Those dark dirty looking spots were on the original render made a bit worse with the quicky postwork I did. Not sure exactly why it came out like that.

    Leroy was an easy buy decision for me.  Useful clothing and other items in the bundles and a character who actually has a unique character.  The only real problem was that I missed the $2.20 items when I did my first cart bundle and had to put in for a price protection on the 13 items I bought to get the Leroy-20 discount.  Hey, 44 cents each is $5.72.

    I'm really liking the renders of Leroy here, and I like what I see in the promos, too. While I have to wait for pro bundles to go at a steeper discount before I can purchase them, he's definitely up there in the ones I want to pick up when I have the chance. He looks great. :-D

    Yeah, older and more mature looking characters has really proven to be the strong point of the G8 series.

    Since this was my opinion, I just decided to quote Serene Night. But I look at the two hairs, and I wonder how?! Why wasn't Samsil roped in to give us anything else but these? Didn't Redz have enough time to give us some other hair?

    Samsil is no longer a PA here at Daz. That might have something to do with… Not sure what Redz is up to, but she is undoubtedly very busy. Gotta admit, I wouldn't mind seeing more Redz' hair in DO bundles, though.

    I was born in the 60's and don't have a clue what you mean... probably because I'm german and living in Germany.
