Political humor allowed?

I read the Terms of Service but I am not sure whether it allows renders of political cartoons. I decided to put it in my DA gallery since almost anything offends someone these days.

I would say no.
We were told years ago back in the old forums that topics like religion and politics were against the rules. I highly doubt that has changed.
the gallery rules are stricter than the forum
I have even had images removed that are ok on the forum
Probably a good idea to keep it on deviantArt, yeah. I actually would rather not know the political leanings of artists and vendors here because I believe that political beliefs in this day and age reflect morality and common sense, and there are a handful of vendors that I will not purchase from now that I know where they stand.
I agree. One vender who is mostly in the other store was a Facebook friend until... And then I stopped buying from them. I would suggest putting it on Twitter with the appropriate hashtags, whatever side it's on (and I hope it's the good one
) and who knows, it could become viral!
No you can't share anything offensive
A no would be most reasonable, for times are crazy and DAZ should remain a hide away from all that.
This forum tends to stay on topic, in which the topic is 3D or DAZ related content. I doubt they would allow political humor since it would be considered off topic, unless they made an off topic sub-forum.
A casual generic comment about politicians is enough to get the message deleted, so no. Don't go there. And count down the minutes until the mere mention of it gets this thread deleted too!

As a general rule I don't post anything on DAZ just to be safe. Too many rules and restrictions for my own personal tastes, but I get that it's for the greater good in general. Rather stick to other websites for political satire....and if you do, please let me know where you post them. I would love to see them Art is Art to me, regardless of what floats your boat or where you pitch your leaning post. The Forums, on the other hand, are great fun...well, until you meet the Chohole Club --- 'ouch!'
What a sad state of affairs.
I'm more than happy to make the Daz forums one of my no-politics and no-religion zones.
I spent a good part of my career obligated to help the staff of each member of Congress to try to advance their agenda, no matter which party they belonged to, or what their agenda was. My agency served Congress as an institution. Not just talking about "both parties." Talking about serving 435 individual members of the House of Representatives and 100 individual members of the Senate and their staffs, if they asked for help. In my experience, there were some amazing people in the US Congress, and there were some nasty, abusive, closed-minded, demagogues. Each party had its fair share of each kind. Furthermore, a special few would adjust their demagogue level depending on whether their party was in power and whether they were a committee chair. Wow!
As Bob Hope joked, no one party can fool all the people all the time. That is why we have two parties. Badda bing, badda boom.
If you ever get a chance to tour capitol hill, I highly recommend checking out the free Bob Hope exhibit. Comedians such as Bob Hope, Groucho Marx, Danny Kaye, and others donated their files. The LOC hosts a rotating exhibit of classic comedy.
Worth repeating that it is free. https://www.loc.gov/exhibits/bobhope/
On which bi-partisan note the thred can gracefully end.
