import export between DAZ studio 4.12 and Marvelous Designer 9
my concern
I run Daz and open a file of a character I dress I want to lower the straps on the arms
http://rolmac.unblog.fr/files/2020/01/capture-1.jpg
so I export my character with this parameter ( the two parameters in yellow do not appear in the tutorial view due to the fact the software is prior to Daz 4.12. and I have to check one of the two to avoid a problem of geometry with morphe loader)

daz accept.

I select the garment? I go in parameter then morph and move the cursor.

that I install in morphe loader the obj file made by Daz made for marvelous or the file made by marvelous for Daz, I have exactly the same result. the garment goes up or down with stretching or crushing deformation
It’s been almost two months that I’ve been busting my head about this problem and now I’ve got a baldness on top of my skull. seen a lot of video with similar settings but done with previous software daz 4.12 and marvelous 9, so some setting option does not appear in their video.
where is my mistake
Help me please, you are my last hope (it sounds star wars you don’t think?)

Please remember to use Smooth Shaded view in Ds if you are going to show a textured nude figure.
I'm not immedirately seeing the error - I do have Marvellous Designer now so I will give it a whirl.
It worked for me just now, aside from the fact that the garment I chose was not welded and fell apart in Marvellous Designer. The falen apart morph did, however, load correctly. Try importing the OBJ and see if it still lines up with the original other than the changes from Marvellous Designer, that will at least tell you where the error is occurring.
I edited my text by changing the offending image and blackening the disputing parties hoping that it suits
I will refer a test with the character and clothing starting from scratch and with other characters and clothing. if the problem persists, I uninstall the two software and re-install them hoping that the problem disappears... I think I had to change a parameter, certainly in Daz that should not change or maybe Marvellous
I’ll try to rest in the evening
thank you for answering
1) if you have already posed the figure in its final pose, does it really matter if you load the Marvelous Designer clothing as Morph? You could just load obj as new scene prop?
2) If you want to load as morph, can you confirm you are exporting and importing properly? Are your clothing items unfitted before you export and unfitted when you apply morph? Any "fitted" clothing will have fitted morphs applied to them. Adding your Marvelous Designer morph on top of that could cause issues perhaps?
That could be the problem but Im not sure. To check if that is the problem, unfit your clothing before export and leave it unfitted upon import. Check if that helps?
I assume you watched this already?
I'm afraid not. Fortunately the images are not essential to explaining what is happening, it's the ones with the settings that are most important.
sorry for this late response but I solved the problem by reinstalling Daz and Marvellous
Not sure how longh this will last but there's a DAZ-to-MD tutorial on sale in the DAZ store right now:

I've had it wishlisted for a while so just used the coupon to buy it a few minutes ago.
