Genesis 8 Sleeves Cloth on Genesis 3.

Hello all.

I try to fit Genesis 8 Female Sleeves cloth to Genesis 3 Female using SickleYields TouTube and DeviantArt tutorials.

While it work great for Legs, Feets and Torso Cloth the Sleeves always distort horrible as soon as I fit it to Genesis 3.

The picture to the left show the Dress "Fit to Genesis 3" without a problem and the Sleeves converted as in SickleYields tutorial only without the "Fit to Genesis 3" step.

Picture to the right shows what happen when fit the Sleeves to Genesis 3.

 

I also tried changing "Fit to Mode" from "Redirect Transform" to "Auto Follow Transform" but that doesn't work out:

I checked the forum and found several other guides about converting cloth but only one which is exactly about converting Sleeves. Sadly it doesn't come to a conclusion, the author only said at the end that he has solved the problem but he doesn't tell how.

So does anyone can tell me how to get it to work, point me to a tutorial or if it is possible at all.

    If it is a G3 item, try just changing the scene identifier to G8 and saving then just fit as normal and you will avoid the autofit dialogue

    ...and I would also love to see how to solve that problem. And maybe a solution for G8F clothes distorted armpits when using them on a G3F. They usually hang down like a piece of sackcloth there sad

    I'm not quite sure how and even less why, but today after a PC restart I tried to convert the cloth again and somehow it works correct now. I'm pretty certain I did not change anything.

    Sorry for eating your time guys and girls.

     

    @maikdecker. Now that it works correct I don't have any major distortion in the armpit area. Yes, there are some but nothing that make it look to ugly. Since I can't figure out why it works now I can't even give you a advice, sorry.
