    I'm just returning items that I bought on the first day and re-purchasing them to qualify for the discounts.  It's a total PITA, and it sucks to add even more work on customer service, but as long as I leave enough to cover sthe sales for each day, it's totally within the rules.

    it all is just getting increasingly harder for me to render with my hardware

    those Dforce dog hairs are near useless to render for animation even static

    I would prefer a nice mesh hair or use Carrara and probably will have to make one myself which does not go well

    Honestly, I just can't see buying into a G9 if it's not completely backwards compatible with G3/G8, as it would cost thousands of dollars in products and add-ons to get even close to what I can do now with my existing content base.  My big fear is that G9 will come with DS5 and that will end up breaking a lot of existing products in the same way that DS 4 destroyed so many DS3 utilities.

    Absolute... my Lib. is Filled with tons of content fitting to G3/8 I am scared what will happen if we get a new G9 series... and yeah... how good will it be, WHAT could they even change? (I really don't know... the only big change I would wish is real anatomical stuff... I mean... I'm sure 70%+ use daz3d for the hot stuff).

    Any other changes do I not see who are needed...

    ALSO... a Problem I know as gamer... with the release of a new console got you alone with your old console, all played the new xbox/playstation and you sit there with your old one and no one produce content for the old one. So I would fear new content will just come out for a new Gen9 (or maybe 10... I mean after Gen3, we got 8).

    And about the topic, maybe they want that WE make the Freebies? :P

    I'm not the least bit surprised there haven't been new freebies since Christmas, look at all the freebies we got for the holidays, and we did get quite the haul this holiday season. The same thing happened last year, and this year (cause I can't remember if they did the same last year) they immediately start doing the PC sales and 20th Anniversary offerings (pretty much only for pc members). So unless you are a PC memeber, you just have to wait till they decide to get around to the rest of us.

    The change in sales patterns, a drop in activity of new products being announced in the commercial thread, and no new G8 characters this month (except for the Dog 8 stuff, which seems to have been at least partially done back when Dog 8 came out), makes me think there is something on the horizon. Given that it's DAZ 3D's 20th aniversary, and I think it's a good bet that something new is on the near horizon.

    Thelack of updated to the freebie section may be because they are preparing for something new, or it could be because of change in website staffing, or maybe it just isn't a priority right now. It has happened in the past for with no obvious reasons indecision.

    Of course don't start this journey in a parking spot next to a meter or you'll get towed away and wake up enlightened, but locked in an impound lot, and it's really expensive to get your car released... same with doing it on a bus or subway, because that usually ends up with you enlightened, but missing your pants in a cold, dark bus depot or subway yard.

    Or you can chose to ignore these verisimilitudes, these apparent transgressions of time and expectations and just go "Megh... whatever..."

    The choice is yours... you can choose the blue gummy bear and remain content if not a bit bothered, or you can take the red gummy bear and go down the rabbit hole and see the universe as it is.

    That was metaphorical... don't stick your head in rabbit holes, some rabbits are very touchy about that and you are likely to get your head stuck and the rabbit will panic and bite your nose and you'll look real stupid with your butt sticking up in the air and your hands flailing, and if it's a slow news day you'll end up on CNN with firemen digging you out and pulling an angry rabbit off your face and you'll be labeled for life as "rabbit-on-the-nose guy" or "rabbit-on-the-nose girl" and you'll only be able to get work in a carnival as a weirdo covered in angry rabbits.

    The choice is yours.

    I guess that's all...

    I understand I have already gotten the freebies for the last month except that I do not have them yet. Eventually I will had had them all along.

    It would be nice if they just put the breast morphs back. I mean nipples or no nipples? that a button in the materials pane. Also get rid of those stupid eye lash and eye brow things. Did anyone ever find out what the point of that was?

    Those freebies are there for new users to have some content to start using the DazStudio quickly. Wouldn''t expect them to change all that often.

    Hmm yeah.

    Oh and maybe some crotch fixes+nipple fixes, if you wanna use Female created clothes on males, Pants like to shrink in at the genital area and shirts make weird looks because of breast morphs...

    And yes even without adding anatomical elements.

    And I ahve to use Female clothes, because they get sooo much more content... and I like clothes which womans wear, I also like child clothes :D

    ...the opposite can happen as well trying to fit male clothing (pants and shorts) to a female character  as the crotch area tends to distort noticeably due to having to accommodate the the "bulge" morph male figures have.
