What product can add blood stains to clothing (geoshell)?
So I'm trying to make bloody clothes.
I've done it in post, but I want an IRAY solution.
Several products in the store do this to the figure, itself, and NOT the clothing.
I would love something that can go across the clothing AND the body and be a full bloody combo.
Workaround is to do BOTH the clothing and the person separately and hope they come close enough to matching.....
Editing the texture in photoshop and maybe even the skin texture is an option- although there seems to be numerous ways to make dirty and bloody people.
----------------
Previously, I've had great results from Kindred Arts Iray Decal kit, which made a box around an area and added the stain texture with projections.
Sadly, that product is currently not available in the store and using it today gave strange results of darkening the entire clothing. I need to troubleshoot that- as it was a great tool, but for now, I'm sure there's something else or some other method.
--------------------
I've also used Blood and Gore shaders, but that's a little overkill for the little splatters I want....light, almost light splatters....and I want to control WHERE they are on the clothing.
I might even get some mileage from blood-soaked shaders and be willing to use something like bloody cotton or bloody silk or...or...if that even exists.
Searches with Blood, bloody, stain, splatter, dirty snagged the usual suspects.
Any ideas...?
If all else fails, it might be Deviney and Photoshop to the rescue.
There must be a native way to get blood on clothes.
What am I missing?

Here's a few that I know about: SY A Big Mess for Genesis 8, PTF Grungy Threads, Iray GrungeWorx
Wow, wow! I own the PTF Grungy and just picked up the Worx and the Big Mess.
Never would have found them with those tags.
Well done, sir!

I very much like using KindreArts' GrungeWorx. I had no idea the PTF Grungy Threads was even a thing...purchasing it now. Thanks for the links, North.

If I was home, I'd render one as a joke.
There's no better feeling than when you suggest a product for a fellow 3D artist and it works out for them.
Second best, is being able to find a mystery item or figure.
How is the PTF Grungy Threads used particulary the dirt and blood on clothing and the characters skin?
There are a few threads explaining PTF Grungy Threads:
