Video Card "buzzing" during simulation question

Hey!  OK, you've all been so helpful that I thought I'd pose another curiosity to you...  When I run a simulation, particularily those in a heavy scene, my video card makes very short buzzing sounds, like those old computers where processors would go "bzzt" in short bursts when calculating.

The behaviour is odd, though, as the buzzes occur at every frame along the way, but not in between.  For instance:

If I set up the Kay dForce Hair product on a character, and put that character in any pose, and then set the simulation to simulate from memorized pose, when I hit the "go" button my video card makes this "Bzzt" noise every time the character jumps from the basic pose to the new pose.

Is this normal, or am I overstressing something?  The card that I got actually says "For use ONLY in HP systems", but I'm pretty sure NVidia just OEM's these for HP, and HP will only warranty it if you use it in their systems.  I don't think tehre would be any technical difference between the two, but this is what put that little doubt in my head that caused me to post it here.  Is short, quick buzzes like this normal under heavy load?

Although it is difficult to say definitively, it is most probably what is referred to as "coil whine". The sound is caused by increased power flow through components on the video card which cause vibrations. As the current draw fluctuates with demand, so does the sound. Such coil whine is not uncommon with video cards and is not a cause for concern in itself, although it may be annoying.

Ok, this was what I was thinking, also. I tried to get a video of the sound, but I had a hard time getting it to sound right.  The YouTube videos I saw of coil whine was more of a whistling, whereas this is more of a chirping.  I guess you're probably right, and it is nothing to worry about, especially since the machine itself seems to be running perfectly fine. Thanks!
