  I wouldn't count on it. They were two separate figures, not morphs of one another. I don't think the unimesh fits were availble that early either.

  You could try scaling and parenting, but that's a thoroughgoing kludge. Although, if you ate prepared to kludge, since the armor is pretty much full coverage, you could try scaling the original figure to as close as you can get Hiro to M3, turn the Hiro head invisible, and tuck the M3 head (with the rest of the figure invisible) into the helmet. Won't work for animation, but might do for a still image.
