There is no Cat 8. It's the same cat that's been in the store for a decade with a new haircut... But there ARE some ani-blocks for it over at Renderosity. Edit - the vendor there is anniemation There's also a vendor there called anymatter who has some aniblocks for Dog 8.
thanks.

Give it a month or so. The motion sets have been coming up at super discount rates a lot lately.
i can wait a bit
need to get another usb drive already, avi files and png seq filling up my terabytes.
...actually about 15 years now Crikey we just got a new Triggerfish in the Ocean Wonders set, but still have the same old MilCat, just with dForce fur that takes forever on an older system.
AM mentioned a while back that he was working on a new domestic cat (that would use LAMH Player) but have seen no updates on it.
they didnt slap a weigt map on milcat 8?
...nope, just dForce fur and the fact it no longer loads in as big as a Great Dane. Otherwise, it still poses just as poorly.
The last cat I really bothered with was the Poser 4 cat. Couldn't pose it like my real cat (one in my avatar) nor morph it to look even vaguely like him. I inspected the MilCat hard to see if it suffered the same problems, and came to the conclusion that it did, so passed on having one. I do really want a good cat model to be available. My life is infested with them, but sadly they're missing from my renders.

Richard.
Have you looked at the HIvewire cat?
It's a weight-mapped figure, yes.
Not seriously, yet. It looks interesting, but looks to me like it's sort of V4 quality rather than G3/G8 quality. With LAMH dialled down so a machine can cope, the fur also looks a bit thin & sparse, and the breeds.. Well, I'm looking for a good Maine Coon. Still.

Richard.
Thanks.
can wait in faith for the Kitten8
