Noggin's Perched Crow crashes DS every time
Any one else played with these great little birds recently in modern DS? The flying crow loads and poses fine, but every time I try to load the perched crow, DS crashes. I have submitted a ticket, but I'm curious if this is unique to my machine or if it's a weird issue with the way that crow was created (my purchase date was...2004....so, it's kinda old... :) )

I've got this, I'll give it a whirl when I've finished my render.
Seems kind of flaky. I tried it, too, and Studio hung loading it, had to kill the task and restart. I did have a couple of figures in the scene testing out some new stuff, but nothing excessive.
"Error importing file: C Exception: Memory Access Violation - Attempted to read memory at address 0x13f8a8a90"
After starting up fresh, it loads okay. Go figure... Time to export as figure/prop asset.
And so it does! Everytime a coconut
Your question sent me down a rabbit hole. I downloaded and installed DS3, opened the folded raven and saved it as a .daz file, opened this successfully in DS4.12, saved as a scene subset...boom! crash! Nothing I save it as works. Scene, scene subset, scene asset, nowt.
And because I'm a glutton for punishment I installed and tested in DS4.5, 4.10 and 4.11, all happy with original file, all saving a duf that opened in these programs. It was 4.12 that broke it.
What version of 4.12 are you testing? Some fixes for legacy items were added along the way. Check the change log.
Fixed #DS-1982: Some legacy figures crash on load when IK chains are present
DAZ Studio : Incremented build number to 4.12.1.16
I tested it on 4.12.0.86, I'll download update and check.
There does not appear to be a 4.12.1.16 that I can download. I download everything manually and 4.12.0.86 is the latest in my product library.
Could be the same problem as the original Plushies.
