Merry Midwinter Festival & a Contented 2020 to all at Daz: staff, forum folk and customers!
This scene is called "Warble Gloaming" as due to some mysterious aspect of the Waygate (rear right of image) which connects Fairyland to Humanland, whenever Humanland undergoes global warming, Fairyland undergoes a not quite opposite warble gloaming! The fairies from left to right are Gia (no relation to her DS namesake), Jaya, Cake, Breeze and Mirelle. Breeze is a visitor from the Swallowtail clan, while the others are of the Butterfly clan.
Merry Christmas to one and all!
May you all have a highly enjoyable Winter Solstice celebration of your belief system of choice!

Merry Christmas to you all. I enjoy coming here for explanations of what I don't understand. More and more of that every year. But at least I don't get angry (yet) in 3D: RL, now, well that's another story.
Merry Christmas!
I was trying to buy you one, but sadly they've sold out.
Have a good holiday to all at Daz and everyone here.
Merry Christmas to all!
With fam today; going to go visit the extended-extended fam for dinner tonight.
2018 and 2019 were rough. Lost too many relatives, including both of my parents. Hoping for a kinder and gentler 2020, but early signs indicate that I may not see that.
Seriously, even if you can afford a Corvette, you should probably consider a BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, or... well "other". It's pretty and all, but it's also the first year for this new mid-engine model. GM still was having problems with the old front-engine model, so who even thinks they could make a mid-engine model right the first time?
I've owned a Corvette and some of these others, and let's just say I never had a girlfriend nearly as needy as that 'vette. She was definitely high-maintenance. Just to name a few things, replacing the rear-mounted transmission required disassembly of the entire rear-clip, tires were about $1,600 for a set, and insurance on a V8 engine was quite a bit more too. All this with dealership technicians who were all knees and elbows when working on the car.
And worst of all, way too many times, I had to take my Beverly Hillbillies/Li'l Abner 2nd car to work because my two-year-old Corvette wouldn't even start due to some computer or mechanical error; requiring a tow for service. The fact that I even had to KEEP a second car still makes me angry and distrustful of GM.
So for my next car, I instead have my eye on the Toyota Supra or BMW Z4. Hell, even a Mazda Miata would be a better choice (I've had one of those; amazing and fun little car!), as would any number of sporty little road-rockets from Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus. In fact, almost every Lexus model is available as a hybrid, and there are even several fully electric cars available from different manufacturers, if that gets your inner "Vroom" going. My driving habits would mostly be compatible with an all-electric car, so I'm thinking very seriously on that right now.
Waiting on the new Corvette. I think we'll know by 2022 if it's a keeper. There is plenty of time to wait and see if GM will come out with a gem or a lump of coal. And to save up, especially if you want to be able to afford to go places with that hot rod after making that payment.
