Question about ZBrush morphs

I am wondering, I'm migrating to another computer soon. I want to create a character with some product sliders and also some custom ZBrush morphs, then save it as a scene.duf. I am going to do a clean install of everything. If I were to reopen the scene after reinstalling everything, would the ZBrush morphs still show up or would they go away? If they do go away, how would I go about preserving them after reinstalling everything?

  • Unless you save the morphs as morph assets, they will go away. Another way can be to save a scene with them. They can be reused within that scene.

So if I do uninstall and reinstall everything, they'll still pop up if I save the scene with them? How exactly do you save the scene with them or does it automatically do so?

  • Well, you will have brought them in with morph loader pro, so there are dials and they get saved with a scene. For use outside of a scene, the must be morph assets.

Ok that makes sense, thank you for the information. I have one last question that keeps happening. Whenever I save and exit the scene and come back to it, the morphs that I created using ZBrush have changed and are making the adjustments weird looking. I don't know what is causing this, I am exporting the mesh at base resolution and using GoZ. Not sure what to do or what I am doing wrong. I haven't had this problem before, it just started happening a few days ago.
