[how to buy an interactive licenses to things you own?] like carrara 8.5 pro

    Go to the product page and check the 'Add Interactive License' box. The red box that had said "purchased" will turn green and read "Add License". Click on it and just the interactive license (and not the product) will be added to your cart.

    Edit to add: The above instructions are for individual products that have an interactive license available. However, it appears that no interactive license is available for Carrara 8.5 pro. So, you would have to individually purchase licenses for those included item that have them.

    thats interesting as the content not DAZ content but other Carrara included native content is what shlomi laszlo likely wants a license for

    I am covered I believe under the old no longer available indie license I have for DAZ Originals but was still not entirely sure, not had the need yet to enquire

    things like the browser objects, terrains and trees etc, I have found better ways to make that stuff outside of Carrara for games since if I made a game so it was not a big priority

    will be to later, but maybe you can try to ask for the daz team to add a "license", i did it to some "products" which i was targeting to use outside daz, many of then don't had a "interactive license", then i asked then to add, it not will be a 100%, because it's seens which in case the "creator" or th product is not a "daz original" and a artist like rawart and others which are not part daz artist team, it can have a chance of not be added if the artist don't want to allow it or something like that but it's really rare to happen, the bad side is which you must ask throught a ticket and it can take a "lot of time" before you get a answer, specially now which tickets are taking around 5 to 10 days to get a answer, but you can ask now to try to in another time take another chance to buy the license when another "license sales appears".

    how you ask?

     

    in the daz menu where have "shop, technology, galery, forum and help. click in help it lead you to another page where you must click in the option of the middle "contactu us" where is saying "submiti a ticket, then it will open a "ticket page where you must follow the format and give the proper infos, the ones marked with a red small start are obrigatory but you can fill with something like N/A, the most important in your case, are subject which is the "tittle in your case will be something like "add interactive licence to product x(name)"

     

    then go to description where you explain your request, then after fill some parts the ones you must look for are the "contact department" which in this cases can be the "sales" or maybe technical support but i'm sure will be the sales, then fill the others accoding to what you feel is the right or just look for N/A.

     

    As i told it will take time and for sure not gonna happen today since is weekend(the support don't work on weekends), then weekends days don't count for exemple if you put a ticket today, the chance will be which will take at last until next friday(if you are lucky) for you get your answer.
