I had important stuff to do with my 13th check, but thanks to you, I'm totally brok... Oh, look! Another sale.

And you did! :)
Yup! Just loaded up another gift card, ya gonna spend it eventually..lol
...were it not for sales I'd still be using Gen3 & 4 figures while having to fiddle with Poser materials on props, clothing, and sets to make them look good in Daz..
Since just september I have reached the point where almost nothing DAZ has to offer is of interest - because I have bought everything that was of interest.
To compensate, they keep releasing new items. :DDDD
...I am sort of feeling that, somewhat based on what I already have and interest, but also that everything new (save for props and sets) is pretty much G8 and dForce based. I decided to get off the bus at the G3 stop as I couldn't justify rebuying everything all over for a new Genesis figure for the slight amount of improvement it offered over G3 (retired on a tight fixed income) while dForce demands more system horsepower than my old hardware can handle.
This.
I said to myself yesterday that I would really need another gift card sale today to replenish. I guess DAZ knew, after all those sales.
I am in a similar boat to you. 6 year old PC, pension, etc. None the less, the stupidity is strong with this one (i.e. me).
Mine lasted about 4 days, and it was a big one :(
@Missuskisses there is a one day 20% off sale on https://www.daz3d.com/gift-card today (say for five more hours after this post).
And I've a HUGE wishlist of seven items (mostly newish, so they lost their intro discounts), with no plans to buy another female character (except for anthro/alien/monster types), but that does not mean I have no interest in add ons and other tools that may come out.
As for the OP and title, ~maybe Daz3d SHOULD stop all sales~... or would that mean stop selling anything at all???
~ {Said with tongue in cheek}
Seven items is huge? I've had 30-50 items in there at times.
Also, if DAZ stopped its sales, all sales would probably stop. Those full prices are only there to make the sales look good!
No problems here, Dollar Loan Center just approved me for a $5000 payday loan - so now I can quit my job.
Obviously seven items is an miniscule wishlist, compared to what I used to have, so that was a little sarcasm on my part
. I plan to heavily cull my runtimes, as I have too much stuff, and no longer need most of the older content (as in pre-Genesis) with a very few exceptions. And though I expect to buy a lot less now, I think it is going too far to suggest Daz3d run fewer sales - having said that, I believe the OP was posted as a joke, but some people may take it seriously.
Of course it was a joke! Where would we be without sales? As for old content, I agree. I started on a "new" machine, and didn't install my massive A3/V4 era stuff. There are 2000+ daz items alone I have not installed, although there are poser duplicates in that lot. Nor have I installed the stuff from Rendo, or all the free stuff I gathered.
Those countdown items... I see myself spending all my money, 2.99 drips at a time.
I really need to remind myself that I don't need yet another grungy industrial/sci-fi set, even if it's "just" 2.99.
Do you know how many times I tell myself I don't need another sci fi set??? Cos I have quite a few??
And then I see one...on deep sale....and that's it, it's mine. *sigh*
Dang guys, my computer is about 10 years old now and yeah it struggles with the awesomeness of dforce and dhair and all that but i mean c'mon, 3delight renders jsut as slow and doesn't look as awesome... :)
These sales are killer... and i mean that, both as a buyer and a PA.... lmao. Ouch. Hope ya'all love the discounts. ;)
I didn't see any sci-fi sets in the $2.99 sale. You know what that means, don't you? (cries to self)
