How do I delete items from Winter Gas Station scene?

Hello -

I'm using the [Winter Gas Station] above scene and I'm trying to delete all the interior stuff from inside the building because my card is crashing DAZ, I need to reduce the sise of the scene.  When I try to delete any item or group thereof, it keeps waqnting to delete the whole station. Unparenting seems to have no effect. Any ideas?

    It may be set up as a figure. If so, and if the items you want to remove are bones, then setting them to be invisible (using the Visible button in the Parameters pane or the eye icon in the Scene pane) will stop DS from sending their geometry to the renderer at least.

    I tried that, but still got crashes. As soon as I deleted the building and its contents, however, the crashes stopped. Apparently, just turning visibility off has no effect.

    It does have an effect - invisible geoemtry (actually invisible, not made trasnparent through the Surface settings) is not sent to the render engine. it may not make enough of a difference, of course. However, if it's causing DS to crash - rather than dropping to CPU, assuming this is Iray - then it may be a more substantial issue. Whata re your system specifications, and which version of DS are you running (Help>About Daz Studio)?
