I did not understand why the simulation of this dress always crashes and gives me an error https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-wild-winds-outfit-for-genesis-8-females

  • I think I have simulated that set in the past. Does this happen even if you leave the figure in the zero pose?

  • I didn't try it in the zero pose. The pose I put in is still very simple. The points do not touch each other. I don't understand why it always gives me errors. I redid the file by putting back the character and clothes, with animation and without animation. It always gives me error and the simulation doesn't work

  • I tried zero pose of genesis 8 and it works. But clearly I don't need this pose

  • I tried and redid all over again. Nothing, keep giving me errors arrabbiato

  • I tried without the shirt with the sleeves and the simulation works. But I want to put the shirt on triste

  • Are you simulating from that pose or from the zero pose? If from the zero pose are you sure that no body parts pass through each other going from zero pose to final pose? (If it's a pose from a pose set, which is it?)

I don't know if I understood your question correctly. I start from the zero frame with the zero pose then at frame 60 I set the pose which is a pose I purchased. I've changed it a little, but it's not a complex pose. It arrives at about 20 frame and stops. I don't understand why this happens

  • The pose I used is this package https://www.daz3d.com/teen-rebel-poses-and-expressions-for-genesis-8-female-s But I've tried so many others and re-done everything from the beginning so many times and it always stops me

  • I state that the points do not overlap during the simulation

It does say "See log file for details."
Have you looked at the log? What does it say there?

And what version of DS are you using?

So, have you looked at the log file?

Go to help > troubleshooting > view log file. Ctrl A backspace ctrl S, then run the sim again. It will make it easier to see what error is in log if there is one.

  • ok, and what do I do with that file now? I can't read the reason for the errors

  • The fulle version of the error should appear at or near the end, if you open the log just after the simulation fails.

  • Yes, I have the log file. But for me it is incomprehensible.triste

  • Please post the error mesage relating to the failed simulation

  • OK thanks. Who do I send it to?

Please post the error mesage relating to the failed simulation

  • Post it here.

  • ecco il file

  • no, he did not attach it

  • Text file is not attached. Maybe it's too heavy, I don't know

  • Hi, I updated the nvidia card and the error it gave me seems to be solved. But this dress still does not work well. After a few frames explodes, his fingers get caught in the sleeves of his shirt, is there a way to circumvent the obstacle?

Explosions usually happens if cloth get trapped.

Such as if a body part moves through the torso.

What I normally do is using timeline for simulation, and then you can correct such things with an in-between pose, so there is no intersecting.
