G8F Body Morphs And Elegance Expressions Not Working

Hi everyone :D

Maybe I'm too noob for this, but I've bought these two products, and I can't use them!

I go to Parameters and to Shaping, but I don't see anything new! How do I use Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs?

https://www.daz3d.com/elegance--expressions-for-genesis-8-female-and-penny-8

I click on the expressions from the Pose menu in Smart Content, but nothing happens. The expressions from other products work just fine.

I've tried them on different G8F characters, on the base one too, but nothing.

I've installed them with Daz Install Manager. I've already tried unistalling and reinstalling them. The other products I've bought with them work just fine.

Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

  • I noticed the same issue with the elegance expressions. The sliders work for me. So I didn't let it bother me since i use the sliders far more than the one click expressions.

Thank you, I'll try and use the sliders...but damn, I use the direct expressions a lot, and they were really good! Does anyone know how to fix this?

And is someone using the Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs? It's important to me!

  • Are you not seeing the sliders, or are they not working? How did you install?

I've solved my problem, thank you :)

If anyone comes here from Google with my same problem: I unistalled everything (DAZ Studio, Daz Install Manager, every package...) and I reinstalled everything again, this time from Daz Studio itself (go to Smart Content->Products->Right Click->Install and Upload Metadata (just to be sure).

Now I see every slider, and the expressions work from the poses menu directly.

I guess I did some mistake moving DAZ from my SSD to my Hard Drive...check out the directories in Daz Studio and Daz Install Manager preferences :)

  • I had a similar problem -- tore my eyes out trying to figure out why the sliders were not showing -- path check, metadata update, etc., etc. Then, I closed Daz and re-opened it, and the sliders appeared. Insert *chuckle* here....
