So, I just finished transferring my system to a new Core i7 laptop with 16GB of RAM and send an e-mail to get a new authorisation code for INFINITO.

    What do I get Back?

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Server error: '550 This domain is not hosted here'

I am absolutely sick and tired of these childish registration and authorisation schemes. They are intrusive and they drive people away from the vendors who produce the products. This is also a good example of how you can just be left out in the cold with a piece of software that you have paid for and expected to be able to use only to find that it is now useless.

    Never again.

His website appears to be all there. Some pages do link over to orphan pages ... but that's another matter.

Sending you a PM with the link for his contact form.

AFAIK he can also be reached by PM here in the forums.

Oh, WOW1 This could be a real issue. The program is still sold at DAZ and I bought it a little while back but haven't yet installed it. I just hope that when I get to installing it a few months from now that I will be able to activate it.

And you know what? A 550 error might be due to a misconfiguration of your client just as much as it could be a hiccup in the email server.

It is generally not caused on the recipient's end.

Hi folks, I'd like to reassure you that all it's fine, and I'm supporting it for the foreseeable future. My email works just fine, at least from here: probably some DNS issues somewhere.
Please feel free to email me to alex.mastronardi_at_icloud.com (replace _at_ with @) for any question and issue.

I agree. I'm changing the activation system on the 2.0 version so that will be totally automated on the user side. But for now, 1.0 and future updates remain as they are.
