Teen Raven 8 not the correct height as listed

In the Teen Raven 8 description profile she is listed as Height: 5' 6" (167.8 cm)

When loading her in Daz, she is more like 5' 9.5" making her taller than Babina 8 who is correctly 5' 8".

    She's a teen, she can't be 5' 9.5"

  • I don't think issue is what height she is, but if they are going to bother with listing heights and other measurements on their ad page, they should be accurate. Otherwise just leave them off the page if they are unimportant.
  • My 16 yr old has been 5'11" for about four years... but it should be listed correctly, I think.  I also know my daughter is, and always has been, in the 110th percentile or more for height, so it isn't an average by any means, nor representative of teen girls generally.

Just simply pointing out a description error on a product's details incase people actually care about those details. I won't do it again, I'm sorry.

In future, putting in a ticket seems a more direct way to get this done.

Maybe it seems silly to some people, but I do agree, if Daz is going to list those kinds of details they could at least get them correct.

This is a 3D art asset website, and those details can matter. Maybe you can just dial that in, but you could also go and create your own teen model from a handful of dials, too...

And for those talking about her tall height related to being "teen" or not, she doesn't look very teen to begin with, so that's kind of a moot point, LOL.

Impressive. She's taller than more than all of the other girls her age.

(5'11" actually puts her at about the 99.7th percentile.)

    I know teens taller.

  • We have girls here on the high school basketball team that come in anywhere between 5'9" to 5'11" tall. Like most people we all come in different shapes and heights. I guess I've never paid much attention to the height and measurements of a figure. Many times I have to resize them especially when it comes to putting them in vehicles.

    Of course she can.

    One: teens get tall.

Two: teens include those who are 19. Girls generally reach their full height by 16 or 17 I believe, and are certainly close to it.

That's 3 girls per 1000, which is a hell of a lot when we're talking millions.

  • I've known a girl who was 6'1" at 13. It happens, and she got away with a lot because people subconsciously connect age with height. My wife is 5'4" and was mistaken for a teenager till she was nearly 30.

I was 5'4" at 12 and never got a fraction of an inch taller....*sniff*.... But, I digress ;)

It IS easy enough to adjust the height of a figure, but I do also agree that if Daz wants to list such things in the ad copy, it should at least be correct ;). I personally would prefer a 5'6" female teen to a 5' 9-1/2" one.

It’s so easy to just adjust the height dial...  Funny, because the first thing I usually do is make most of the models’ legs longer. Most look like they have short legs to me, the men too...

    Not in the Daz World

    • Teen Jane 8 - 5' 4" (162.7 cm)
    • Teen Josie 7 - 5' 4.7" (164.3 cm)
    • Teen Josie 8 - 5' 5" (165 cm)
    • Teen Kaylee 8 - 5' 6" (168 cm)

The description prove they didn't plan to make Teen Raven 8 be tall.

  • Not that the whole thread hasn't gotten a bit silly after the first post pointed out an error between the product page and the product... but are you really saying that one teen figure can't be intentionally 5'9" because there are others that are shorter? If they meant her to be a little taller, they can update the product page, if they meant her to be shorter, they can update the product...

Only Daz can answer to that question but they didn't change the description or didn't update this item yet.

Is this information true ? I didn't see somebody else confirm her 5' 9.5" height.

@Noah LGP "Is this information true ? I didn't see somebody else confirm her 5' 9.5" height."

It's true according to Measure Metrics.

    Okay thank you !

So there was no issue caused by another product, sometimes it can change the default settings.

Let see if Daz will do something about it.

  • nicsttnicstt Posts: 11,715

The issue itself hasn't been confirmed

A couple of posters said she was 5' 9.5" according to Measure Metrics. The figure is still being advertised listed as 5' 6".

Can anyone else who owns Raven confirm what her height currently is?

Withthe right morph packages it is whatever you want it to be so get over it.

  • There's no need to be rude. I'm just wondering what the correct height is.

Daz confirm what she should be; either the height she is is correct, or the published height is the height she should be; doesn't really matter, just adjust it to what you need.

I should have been more plane: "What the issue is, hasn't been confirmed by Daz."
