DAZ History panel?

Hi!

Can you achieve a similar function like the History in Photoshop, where u know where to click to undo to a specific point, I know ctrl+z might do but something like very subtle changes or something hidden away may be hard to notice.

Or how to undo / reset breast morphs except ctrl+z, like an action history panel like Photoshop

Also, where does bought morphs usually reside? so far from my fiddling I found are in “Parameters” and some are in “Shaping”

Much obliged!

The Undo command does tell you which command/preset it is going to be reversing if you go by the Edit menu instead of using the keyboard shortcut. But no, there isn't a History pane or the like.

  • I would really love to have a History panel with snapshot possibility, as in Photoshop! Every so often when doing morphs you in a wrong direction and to be able to come to a saved good state would be an enormous help. Could this be added as a wish for developers?

That depends on what options the original content creator used. If you select a morph and click on the Gearwheel icon> Parameter Settings, you'll see the 4th field is called Type and has a drop-down list of content types. According to DAZ QA, all morphs should be set to Modifier/Shape so they show up automatically in the Shaping pane. But of course, this isn't always the case, especially with older content or products from other sites.

You can do it yourself, if you like. If you have a morph that's set to None or Modifier/Pose (shows in the Posing pane), change it to Modifier Shape and it'll appear in the Shaping pane. Then resave the figure/prop as a Scene Subset and your changes will hold.

To find things I always use just the Parameters tab. In the Parameters everything will show, no matter what type it is.
There are some type of dials that don't show up in any other tab, only in Parameters; for example dials for Conditional Grafts.
