I picked up this item a few days ago https://www.daz3d.com/mobile-home ; who wouldn't for $6. I migrate most itmes over to Lightwave & noticed something with the roof (actally, the Outside Trim) when I started surfacing that's got me head scratching. I've some re-parenting & more surface tweeks to do yet, but notice the dimpled texturing. The thing is, there are only three image maps for this surface (Base Color, Base Bump and a Normal map), & none of them are this pattern. Only default UV's are used & no tiling that I can find.
How/where do I track this down in DS?

You wouldn't know it from looking at the bitmaps, but the combination of bump and normal maps actually gets it done. Bump is set quite high (30) and dialing either one down in DS makes the dimpling go away.
Ah, so it's a combo of the maps to get sort of an interference pattern?
I saw the value in the Base Bump, but couldn't find any real info as to what that corresponded to other than just a percentage.
I'll try playing around with that in LW then.
