well the daz studio progam has changed so much

 i have not touched the  softwear in over a year i jump back in and boom so much change, how do i change the color of the hair that i have extra shades of color to compared to previous set up

    Sorry that I don't have an answer for you, but I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having trouble remembering how to do things like change hair color. I had a very similar issue just a few days ago, and I couldn't tell if they had changed things or if I was just forgetting how to do it.

    What layout are you using for the UI? A screenshot would help if you don't know. In general, If there are material presets for the hair, you can find them in the content tab or the smart content tab if the product has meta data. Try smart content first. Select the hair in the scene tab and then look for a materials folder in the smart content tab. If there isn't any listed, then you'll have to go into the regular content tab to find the presets. You can also try searching for the hair in the content tab if you know the name of it.

    The Content Library pane is the equivalent of the DS 3 Content pane, though it's been there for considerably more than a year. You can use Smart content for things that have been categorised, as Quasar notes, or the Presets tab of the Surfaces pane.
