dForce Draping vs Conforming rigging

There's a really beautiful
new dress dForce Tropical Breeze Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s) by Moonscape Graphics Nikisatez sade, but when I look at the promos, I notice that the dress doesn't fall naturally at all. I can only imagine that this is because the rigging required to make it conform interferes with dForce draping. As you can see, the bottom of the dress, rather than gathering at the pit of the knee, it clings to the back of the calf.
Is there a simple-ish way to undo the rigging in cases like this to make cloth fall naturally? I'm buying it regardless because it's so nice, but I've run into this type of issue before, and any help would be appreciated.

no need to undo the rigging, that looks more like it could use the friction in the dynamics to be reduced, so it will slide down the legs more naturally.

That is a beautiful dress. Haven't seen rigging affect outfits, while dforcing, unless parts of the dforce weight map (usually hidden - so just create>add one) is not at full value. Usually end up adjusting the default dForce values to fit wioth what look I am after. Friction, bend, shear, gravity etc.
On any vertex where dynamic strength is set to 1, any conforming rigging has no effect on the dForce simulation.
It is possible through surface parameters or weight maps to set dynamic strength to less than 1, in which case the original rigging will take some effect. However, that is a very deliberate feature in dForce so that clothing can use both conforming and dForce areas (dForce places quite a lot of restrictions on mesh design), not some irritating unintended interference.
You can try adding a weight map modifier or modifying the surface parameters yourself to add simulation (although, to me, it doesn't necessarily look *that* wrong - if she'd only just lifted her legs up, the fabric's stiffness might well have kept it there), but if there is a partial dynamic strength in this area, you may find that it was a deliberate choice by the artists to help preserve seam shapes or the like.
So I think it was more a matter of not dForcing that dForce dress. It works fine without any adjustments to friction.
